The Maidstone Dental family lives right here in your community, and are dedicated to your family’s complete dental health.

Dr. Ana Maya Adkins was born and raised in Colombia, South America. After graduating from Universidad Autonoma de Manizales in Colombia she had the opportunity to move to Florida. There she served as President of the People’s Resource Organization and mentored at-risk children from Haiti, Brazil, and other third-world countries, as well as disadvantaged local youth.  She earned the advanced standing degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2000.

In 2001, Dr. Maya Adkins began her practice with Drs. Bennett, Butler & Associates in Williamsburg, Va.  She opened Maidstone Dental in April 2009 and is an active member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.  Dr. Maya Adkins lives with her husband, Steve, and two daughters in Quinton, Va. She loves to travel, cook and exercise.

Dr. Holbert graduated with Honors from The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.  He received his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics from the University of Connecticut.  He met his wife, Paige, while attending dental school in Chapel Hill, NC.   Mr. and Mrs. Holbert were married in Atlantic Beach, NC in 2006 and have two children.  They currently live in Richmond where they enjoy biking, running, traveling and hiking with their dog Logan.
