New Patients

To understand what to expect for your first visit to our practice, please read through this page.  You’ll find all the practical information you need, such as a map and directions to our office, practice hours, payment policies and more.  There’s also background information about our committed staff and our first visit procedures.  You can even save some time at your first visit by printing out and completing the patient forms in advance of your appointment.

What to expect on your new patient examination:

• You will get a tour of our state of the art facility.
• You will be seated in a comfortable, private consultation room where you will meet Dr. Adkins to discuss your medical and dental  history, and the reason of your  visit.
• You will be seated in our treatment room where Dr. Adkins will order the proper x-rays that you need.
• Dr. Maya will start the examination with an oral cancer screening, including a head and neck examination.
• Dr Maya will evaluate every single tooth and record all the findings, which include periodontal probings that will determinant the health of your gum tissue and eventually the kind of cleaning that you need.
• A treatment plan will be presented to you and, with your approval , will be submitted to the front desk where you will receive an an ESTIMATE based on your insurance plan.
